Our Training Methods
We believe in balance. To obtain the highest level of obedience we have found that positive reinforcement used along with fair correction is the best way to ensure consistent desired behaviors. The intent of correction is not to punish the dog, but rather to change the dog’s behavior. When applied, positive reinforcement or correction will deliver enough information to your dog to help them understand that their choices will come with consequences, either positive or negative. This way when a correction is required your dog will quickly learn and understand why, so they can avoid corrections in the future. This type of training is not only crucial for peace of mind and enjoyment of your dog but it can also be life-saving in certain situations. As dog owners, it is our responsibility to make sure that our pup is obedient for their safety and the safety of others.
